Resolution of establishment
A committee’s terms of reference come from its resolution of establishment, which is passed by the Assembly. This resolution sets out a committee’s responsibilities, any additional powers a committee may have and any specific directions the Assembly may decide to give a committee. The Assembly can amend the resolution of establishment to alter or expand the responsibilities, membership and work of a committee.
The Assembly resolved to establish a standing committee on Health and Community Wellbeing on 2 December 2020, amended on 11 February 2021, 30 March 2021 and 22 April 2021.

- Justice health

- Homelessness and housing services
- Prevention of domestic and family violence
