Committees

Here you'll find all active and dissolved committees of the Tenth Assembly. These committees are either standing committees or select committees.

• Standing Committees (with dark blue banners) are created at the start of each new Assembly to focus on certain subject areas. They meet throughout the whole term of the Assembly and expire on the election of a new Assembly.
  • The Assembly created seven standing committees on 2 December 2020 and has since made a number of changes to the resolution. Please click here to view the current resolution and to access its history.
• Select committees (with light blue banners) are created by the Assembly during a term to inquire into something specific. They usually have set time frames in which to complete their inquiries and cease to exist once they have submitted their findings to the Assembly.
